One of the best places to stop for a meal in Mount Pleasant is the Waterfront District at Shem Creek. It’s lined with restaurants bars, not to mention the waterfront views of the harbour and marshes. The 2000 foot long boardwalk is also a nice place for a relaxing walk with the family.
Boone Hall Plantation
It’s important to learn from our history. In Mount Pleasant one place to do that is at Boone Hall Plantation. They offer guided tours and exhibits of plantation history including former slave cabins dating back almost 300 years.
